Story 1: Anna’s New Adventure

Anna is from Spain. She is happy because she is visiting London for the first time. At the airport, she meets Tom. Tom is from England, and he is very friendly.

“Hello! I am Anna. Where are you from?” Anna asks.

“I am from London,” says Tom. “Nice to meet you, Anna.”

They talk about their countries. Anna learns that Tom likes Spanish food. Tom learns that Anna loves English music.

Anna needs to check into her hotel. She goes to the hotel reception. “Hello, I have a reservation. My name is Anna García,” she says.

The receptionist smiles. “Welcome, Anna. Can I see your passport, please?”

Anna gives her passport. “Here it is,” she says.

The receptionist gives her a key. “Your room number is 205. Enjoy your stay!”

In her room, Anna writes a profile for a new app. She writes: “Hello! My name is Anna García. I am from Spain. I love traveling and meeting new people.

Later, Anna goes to the hotel café. She sees Tom again. “Hi, Tom!” she says. “Let’s have coffee together.”

Tom smiles. “Great idea, Anna!”

Anna and Tom enjoy their coffee. They talk and laugh. Anna feels happy. She is meeting new friends and learning English.
